Communities

Create and join groups for your playgroup, LGS, or online community.

What Are Communities?

Communities are groups for:

  • Playgroups - Your regular gaming buddies
  • Game Stores - LGS weekly events
  • Discord Servers - Link your community
  • Leagues - Competitive play groups

Members can see community games, events, and each other's status.

Joining a Community

By Invite Link

  1. Get an invite link from a community admin
  2. Click the link or paste it in Join Community
  3. You're in!

Browse Public Communities

  1. Go to Communities > Browse
  2. Search or scroll through public communities
  3. Click Join on any that interest you

Creating a Community

Basic Setup

  1. Go to Communities
  2. Click Create Community
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Name - Your community's name
    • Description - What it's about
    • Visibility - Public or Private
  4. Click Create

Invite Members

Share your invite link:

  1. Go to Community Settings > Invites
  2. Copy the invite link
  3. Share via Discord, text, email

Community Features

Member List

See all members and their status:

  • Online/offline status
  • Currently playing indicator
  • Role (Admin, Moderator, Member)

Community Games

Games created for the community appear here:

  • Only visible to members
  • Quick join without codes
  • See who's playing

Events

Schedule recurring or one-time events:

  • Weekly FNM - Every Friday at 7pm
  • Commander Night - First Saturday monthly
  • Tournaments - Special events

Community Events

Creating Events

  1. Go to Events tab
  2. Click Create Event
  3. Set details:
    • Name, description
    • Date and time
    • Format and rules
    • Recurring (optional)

Managing Your Community

Roles

Role Permissions
Admin Full control, can delete community
Moderator Manage members, create events
Member Join games, RSVP to events

Moderation Tools

Admins and moderators can:

  • Remove members
  • Edit community details
  • Delete events
  • Manage invite links

Tips

Link Your Discord: Share your community link in your Discord server for easy onboarding.

Regular Events: Scheduled events keep communities active. Even a simple "Commander Tuesday" helps.
