Player Disconnections

If a player loses connection during a game, the system handles it gracefully.

Grace Period

When a player disconnects:

  1. A 5-minute countdown begins
  2. Their turns are auto-passed
  3. Other players see a disconnect indicator with remaining time
  4. If they reconnect, they resume normally

Vote to Kick

If the grace period expires and the player hasn't returned:

  1. Their status changes to "Disconnected (Auto-passing)"
  2. Other players can Vote to Kick
  3. When enough votes are cast, the player is removed
  4. The game continues without them

Be Patient: Connection issues happen. Give players time to reconnect before voting to kick.

Tips

Set Expectations: Use the table name and power level to attract the right players. "Casual Battlecruiser" sets different expectations than "Competitive Combo".

Quick Games: Sort by "Most Players" to find games about to start.
